So the game ended, I didn’t watch it but I hear that it was 1 all because of a fault made by Robert Green, the England goalkeeper? Oh and everyone is really angry about it. Wanna know why everyone was angry about it? It was the one game we were hoping to win! Oh well, it just about sums up the world cup for England. ENGLAND TO LOSE YAAAAAY!
I spent my time watching Race to Witch Mountain. Those kids are incredible actors! Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is an excellent actor aswell, hardly surprising as he became famous due to wrestling, a.k.a. hardcore acting.
I just wanted to show how patriotic I am and how much I believe in England’s football team. You’d be surprised at how patriotic I actually am, I just think football is a waste of time xD
Now, today I applied for 6 jobs, tomorrow I’m applying for another 4. So hopefully out of the 10 I am applying for I will actually get one!
Now to watch the film ‘Australia’ who (I am told) beat us in the rugby this morning… HOORAH!
Maybe one day we’ll have a sports team I can believe in.
On another subject, I wish all of our troops here and abroad all the best, you are doing excellent jobs and, though some may disagree, you are serving your country without fault, I just wish we could do you the same honour.
So I just got back from the dentist where I was meant to get my ‘Upper C’s’ extracted. I came out with a face like a fried egg and 2 fillings on my molars. This is the SECOND time I’ve been for this specific extraction so that I can get braces - you know what I reckon? I reckon it’s because I’m 16 in a month and 4 days, which means I’ll have to pay through the roof for braces! NHS is free my arse!
So that was a well hidden secret… Matthew Morrison can play the ukulele, my coolness just went up 10 degrees! I thought I would post this so soon after my last post because I just finished watching it. My mind was more than blown, I’m still trying to find all of the pieces! So it was one of the easiest songs to play on the uke? SO WHAT! He played, he sang, he rocked!
That’s all I have to say… oh and Hi Lee!
So I did my physics exam a couple of hours ago, I don’t really know how I did - I guess I’ll find out on the day of the release of results!
I just went for a run with my friend and my dog (not to be confused), his name is Angus, he’s Australian, but lived in Latvia and now lives literally 2 minutes away from me here in sunny England. So I think it’s fair to say he’s led an interesting life! (the friend, not the dog)
My dog seemed to love the run, she’s an obese Border Terrier with a face like a slapped baboons arse.
Also today, I decided I’m going to buy an xbox 360 elite from my other friend, yes, that’s right a GIRL buying an xbox 360 - and I intend to play it. That will mean I’ll have 3 consoles in my room… heavy. PS2, Wii and 360 elite! wow, games are gonna be expensive!
I’m about to watch the finale of GLEE (the regionals one) online because it doesn’t air in the UK until Monday and I can’t wait that long!
So it’s just turned 12:18am, 9th June 2010 and I have an exam this afternoon… why do I not sleep? Even I’m not sure, it’s one of those primitive teenage things - go to sleep in the morning, wake up in the afternoon. All I know is that I have from 9am until 1.30pm to cram revision for my Physics Module 7 exam paper, because I haven’t even looked at what I’m supposed to know!
A little bit about me…
I’m a Potterhead, never a Twihard< This is important.
I’m a teenager from the UK.
My name is Matilda, but everyone calls me Tilly.
I play the ukulele, it’s become an obsession of mine since my mum bought be a cheap one for christmas. I then started playing, caught the ‘bug’ and bought a better uke. I hope to start a YouTube channel soon with classic songs, tutorials and original compositions.
I’m a classic teenage girl.
My greatest ambitions in life are;
Get into Oxford University.
Become an actress.
Play the ukulele at a gig/festival/backing track.
I know they’re pipe dreams but where would we be without dreams? This blog will follow my journey from gangly teenager to adulthood, hopefully I can achieve some of my dreams along the way.
